1. Services

[Your Company Name] provides landscaping services including, but not limited to, lawn maintenance, yard cleanups, mulching, planting, trimming, hardscaping, snow removal, and irrigation services.

All services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards.

2. Estimates & Scope of Work

All estimates are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Estimates are based on the visible condition of the property at the time of inspection. Any additional work required due to unforeseen conditions (including but not limited to hidden debris, root systems, drainage issues, or structural obstacles) will be billed separately and must be approved by the client before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required prior to the start of work, depending on the size of the project.

Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Invoices not paid within 7 days may be subject to a late fee of 5% per month.

Client agrees to pay all costs associated with collections, including legal fees, if payment is not made.

4. Scheduling & Weather Delays

All service dates are estimates and may be adjusted due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or scheduling conflicts.

SOS Lawn Care is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

5. Property Access & Preparation

The client is responsible for providing clear and safe access to all work areas.

The client must remove or secure:

  • Pets

  • Vehicles

  • Outdoor furniture

  • Decorations or obstacles

We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.

6. Underground Utilities & Property Conditions

The client is responsible for identifying and marking all private underground utilities, including but not limited to sprinkler systems, invisible fences, and low-voltage wiring.

We will contact public utility locating services when required; however, we are not responsible for damage to unmarked or improperly marked private lines.

7. Damage & Liability

While care is taken to avoid damage, landscaping work may result in minor disturbances to existing turf, soil, or surrounding areas.

SOS Lawn Care is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing property damage

  • Damage caused by normal equipment use on soft or wet ground

  • Damage to hidden or improperly installed items

Liability, if any, is limited to the total amount paid for the service provided.

8. Plant & Material Warranty

Due to environmental factors beyond our control, no guarantee is made on plant survival unless explicitly stated in writing.

If a warranty is provided, it is contingent upon proper watering, maintenance, and care by the client.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been purchased or work has begun.

10. Recurring Services

Recurring services (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) will continue until canceled.

A minimum of 7 days notice is required to cancel recurring services.

Missed services due to weather may be rescheduled or skipped at our discretion.

11. Snow Removal (If Applicable)

Snow removal services are performed based on weather conditions and accumulation levels.

We do not guarantee completely ice-free surfaces.

The client assumes all risk associated with winter conditions, including slips and falls.

12. Safety

Clients and all occupants must remain clear of work areas during service.

SOS Lawn Care is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsafe conditions on the property or failure to follow safety guidance.

13. Photo & Marketing Release

SOS Lawn Care reserves the right to take before and after photos of projects and use them for marketing purposes, including website and social media, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time due to unsafe conditions, inappropriate behavior, or non-payment.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, labor shortages, or supply chain disruptions.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By approving an estimate, scheduling service, or submitting payment, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

18. Right to File Mechanic’s Lien

In accordance with Indiana law, SOS Lawn Care reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien against the property for unpaid services, labor, or materials.
